Reveil 2019
The second and third grade students music management of PXL-Music collaborate with the Flemish organisation Reveil to set up editions of the event on cemeteries in Limburg. Traditionally Reveil presents one or more musical acts on All Saints’ Day (November 1st) for a local audience on cemeteries in Flanders.
This year PXL-Music organized concerts and lectures on the cemeteries of Hasselt (Kermt), Borgloon and Lommel. Dana Winner sang an ode to her father on the cemetery of Kermt, in between a storyteller brought life stories. On the cemetery of Borgloon Rick De Leeuw, The Melting Baskets (with students of PXL-Music) and the Vandevorst family & paid tribute to deceased villagers. In Lommel Gianni Marzo (guitarist with Marble Sounds & Isbells) paid tribute to deceased villagers.
