Little China Girl

Shuting Ye will go down in history as the first international exchange student at PXL-Music. She is 21 years old, was born in Guangdong, China and is a student at Washburn University, Kansas, USA.

With a background in classical music she rose to the challenge of following the electronica course at PXL-Music. During her stay she learned to master Ableton Live and composed some nice songs with the software, like the soothing version of Richard and Linda Thompson’s Shoot Out The Lights. She already listened to Steve Reich but discovered Tom Waits recently as well. She loves the contemporary sounds of Jason Hou.
